Manage Your Canada Revenue Agency Direct Deposit Information Through Your Credit Union!

Applying for the Canada Emergency Response Benefit? Sign up for direct deposit now to ensure your benefit payments arrive soon! We can help you sign up for direct deposit or update your direct deposit information with Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). We encourage you to use direct deposit to avoid any delays and receive your payments faster.  

You can receive these CRA payments through direct deposit:

• Income tax refund

• Canada child benefit

• Goods and services tax/harmonized sales tax (GST/HST) credit

• Canada workers benefit

• Related provincial and territorial payments

• The new Canada Emergency Response Benefit

Students Benefits Can Also Be Deposited Directly

In addition to their Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) and other (SIN) based government benefit payments, eligible students can now have their Canada Emergency Student Benefit (CESB) paid directly into their account at Your Credit Union once they have applied to the CRA to receive the payment. 

Please note, if an individual has never filed a tax return with the CRA, they are not eligible to sign up for the CRA direct deposit service through their financial institution. To sign up for direct deposit or update your personal details, do the following:

• Login to Online Banking

• Go to the left side of the screen and locate Account Services

• Click on the Account Services and it will show the CRA Enrollment link

Direct Deposit Information

To locate your Direct Deposit information in our Online Banking, follow these steps:

1. Log into Online Banking

2. From the Dashboard, choose the account that you want to obtain the information for from the drop down list

3. Click 'View All Transactions'

4. Select the Account Details tab

5. Under the Routing Details section,  you can find the transit, institution number and the account number
